How do I know that Flowers for Heroes is a reputable charity?
Flowers is a 501(c)(3) registered public charity by the Internal Revenue Service and is listed as a registered charitable organization by the Illinois Attorney General.
How will my donation be used?
Your donation will be used to honor our fallen soldiers and provide support for our Gold Star Families.
Each year, Flowers for Heroes will visit between four and six military cemeteries around the world with the purpose recognizing the sacrifices made by our fallen soldiers. Every headstone at these cemeteries will be decorated with fresh flowers to symbolize how the memories of these brave patriots live on in our hearts.
All additional money from fundraising efforts and sponsorships is used to directly support our Gold Star Families in need. Flowers for Heroes works with other non-profit organizations to qualify and select the Gold Star Families in greatest need. These families are then given financial assistance based upon their individual needs.
Can I donate in a currency other than United States dollars?
Yes. We welcome donations from anywhere in the world and in any currency. PayPal accepts a number of international currencies. In addition, PayPal accepts all major credit cards in one of the most secure sites online today.
Does Flowers for Heroes, NFP have annual audits?
Yes, Flower for Heroes is independently audited annually and submits Form 990 to the Internal Revenue Service.
Does Flowers for Heroes, NFP sell, rent or trade donor information to other agencies?
No! Flowers for Heroes, NFP values your support and we are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not cede or sell your data for any commercial use or for any use that is not directly linked to our activities or to the use for which you have entered the data.
